The first trimester is an ideal time to begin your prenatal pilates journey, although your energy may be low and morning (aka all day) sickness is really taking hold, if you can fit in even a little bit of exercise now, it will make a big difference to your experience moving forward.
Focusing on strengthening your core abdominals and pelvic stabilising muscles (glutes, inner thighs and pelvic floor), this program builds strength where you need it before your body starts to change more rapidly.
Before your belly really starts to pop and while you are not restricted by any pregnancy exercise guidelines, this is a chance to lay the foundations for the rest of your pregnancy.
