Chickpea, Garlic & Lemon Hummus

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients:

1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed

3 tbsp of tahini 

3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil 

3 tbsp of water

½ tsp of cumin 

2 large cloves of garlic 

Juice of 1 lemon 

Generous sprinkle of salt

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor 

  2. If you prefer a smoother consistency, add extra water 

  3. Serve with your favourite crackers, pita bread or vegetable sticks
