Pregnancy FAQ
I’m pregnant, can I do your classes?
We offer an entire library of pregnancy-friendly classes, programs and challenges, mostly filmed by Han while pregnant - you know you are in good hands when your instructor is a physio AND a mum! We recommend you speak to your GP or Obstetrician before beginning any of our prenatal programs or classes. During pregnancy, there are certain precautions you must follow, all of our prenatal classes adhere to these safety guidelines. Our prenatal classes and programs can be done at any stage of your pregnancy. We recommend that you listen to your body and do not do anything that does not feel comfortable. If you have any questions please email us online@ourpilates.com.au
When can I start Pilates after having a baby?
Your recovery is unique to you, so after giving birth you will need to speak to your GP or Obstetrician before returning to any exercise. Once you have approval, our postnatal program is designed to build up your strength, mobility and endurance, focusing on the specific areas you will need to strengthen during this time. We recommend that you listen to your body and do not do anything that does not feel comfortable. If you have any questions please email us online@ourpilates.com.au
