Let’s break down the pregnancy exercise guidelines to give you a really clear idea of what is and isn’t safe for you from now until giving birth. As your body changes, the way you exercise may need to change as well. In this video, Han goes through the recommendations to help you figure out how much and what kind of exercise is going to be best for you.
You will recognise Han’s face if you’ve done any of the classes on our platform! Han is one of the co-founders of Our Pilates, a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and a mother of her daughter Harper. Han has worked as a physiotherapist for over 13 years and during this time has had the pleasure of working with women through pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Being a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and accredited Clinical Pilates instructor, Han has helped many women exercise safely and confidently during and after pregnancy. At times this includes assisting women who are experiencing pain or discomfort as a result of the changes occuring in their body. Han has yet to return to working in-clinic since having Harper, but if you think you need to see a physio, please reach out so that she can point you in the right direction. You can contact Han via @ourpilates DM’s or email hello@ourpilates.com.au.
