Bable Cereal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup puffed quinoa

  • 1/2 cup seeds: split between Sunflower and pumpkin seeds

  • ⅓ cup desiccated coconut

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 3 tablespoons tahini

Method


  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC

  • Mix the dried ingredients together in a large bowl.

  • In a small saucepan over a low heat, combine the coconut oil, maple syrup and tahini and stir for a few minutes until melted and well combined.

  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry mix and stir until well combined.

  • Spread the cereal out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 30 minutes, stir every 10 minutes to avoid the top burning.

  • Remove once the cereal is golden all over.
