Immune Boosting Overnight Oats

Serves: 1

Serves: 1

These oats are the perfect start to your morning. The turmeric and ginger add a kick of spice as well as plenty of immune boosting benefits to keep you strong and healthy as we move through the cooler winter months. We like to serve these oats with a dollop of yoghurt, banana slices and nut butter.

Recipe by Two Raw Sisters

5 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana, mashed

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (GF option: soaked buckwheat groats)

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

  • ½ tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¾ cup plant based or dairy milk

Method:

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix until everything is well combined.

  2. Place the oats in the fridge to set for a minimum of 15 minutes.

  3. These oats will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
